The formula
Status compares your current CGPA against the scholarship minimum.
Buffer ≥ 0.15 → Safe
0 ≤ Buffer < 0.15 → Warning
Buffer < 0 → At risk
A small positive buffer still gets flagged as a warning, because a single weak semester can be enough to slip below the requirement.

Why a small buffer still counts as a warning
Scholarship GPA requirements are usually a hard floor — dip below it for even one semester and the funding can be reviewed or withdrawn. Being 0.05 or 0.10 above the minimum feels safe today, but a single rough term is often enough to erase that margin entirely.
This tracker treats anything under a 0.15 buffer as a warning rather than a pass, so you get an early signal to act — talk to your advisor, plan your next semester carefully, or use the Target GPA Planner — before the requirement is actually at risk.
